Revised 6/16/2025
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, completely trustworthy, without error in the original writings, and the final authority for all matters of faith and life.
We believe in one eternal, sovereign, and holy God who exists in three co-equal and co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, worthy of all worship and obedience.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, fully God and fully man. We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, powerful miracles, substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, present intercession for believers, and His personal and glorious return.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, sent by the Father and Son to dwell within believers. He convicts of sin, regenerates the heart, sanctifies the believer, equips the Church with spiritual gifts, and empowers all followers of Christ for godly living and effective witness.
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, and all living things, as an expression of His glory. Humanity was created in God's image, with inherent dignity, equal worth, and purpose—to love God, reflect His character, and steward His creation. We believe that God created humans distinctly male and female according to His design.
We believe that God instituted marriage as a covenantal and lifelong union between one man and one woman. This union is the only appropriate context for sexual intimacy and is a picture of Christ’s relationship with the Church.
We believe that sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, resulting in physical and spiritual death, separation from God, and a fallen creation. All people are born into sin, are alienated from God, and are without hope apart from His saving grace.
Redemption
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, planned by the Father, accomplished by the Son through His death and resurrection, and applied by the Holy Spirit. It is received through repentance and faith, not by works, and brings about new life, forgiveness, and eternal reconciliation with God.
We believe in the one, universal Church made up of all true believers in Jesus Christ, called to be His body on earth. We also affirm the importance of the local church as a gathering of believers for worship, discipleship, mission, and mutual encouragement.
We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life with God and of the lost to eternal separation from Him. We anticipate the new heaven and new earth, where God will dwell with His people in perfect peace, joy, and worship forever.
Final Authority for Matters of Faith and Conduct: This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For the purposes of New Creation Events Ministry faith, doctrine, policy, and discipline, our Board of Directors is the Ministry's interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
